I think about Colour Blocking and then — the way it sometimes works out — the idea takes over.
So, eyes & mind, I go along for the ride, and make an afternoon of it.

/ 23 February 2021I wanted the story arc to give nature the last word & walk chronology had no importance for purposes of that post. But! I could have started with the Mondrian, then shown the tree trunk & observed that Mother Nature was on to this colour blocking stuff eons before the 1920s smarty-pants came along… Fun, eh? Always more than one way to tell a story…

/ 23 February 2021Yes, it’s like a deck of cards that you could shuffle again and again; one day a certain order would work best, another day, a different order. 🙂 I heard on CBC that you had a beautiful day up there today – I was in the car listening on 88.1 as I often do, caught a tail end of Bonnie, etc. We had sun, clouds, rain, a little snow, and hail. Rather refreshing!
