Not Quite, But Almost

1 September 2023 – Not quite fall, but almost.

The signs are everywhere.

Sunflowers in buckets, outside a Strathcona corner store…

sunflowers climbing the Science World fence on False Creek…

and ripening squash, climbing an alley fence in eastern Mount Pleasant.

We sniff the air, and quicken to a different beat.
